HELPP!! somebody hit me!!!

OK I did the super dumb thing! I needed to change servers because of a lot of reasons but in the process of restoring files I did the super dumb thing a binary download of the yabbse folder for upload to the new site. DUUH    

besides going into every file to properly restore carrage returns in php files do you know an easier way to restore this mess? help me please!!!

Hmm, not that I know of.    I bet there may be some text editors that can convert for you.

Normally this is not that big disaster. Most of php files do not care if Lf only or CrLf delimiters are there. (Perl scripts or java scripts care but not php scripts if they are properly written).  

If *you* care then you can try to upload in ASCII and right afterwards download in BINARY (ore vice versa). Normally I do like this if I get a local file with Lf only delimiter, I prefer on my local pc the CrLf delimiters because they work better with any text editor.

just download the safe version from the downloads page and use that, filling in the setting.php as appropriate
