Wow. Saved by technology

Monday morning, after a few months on my server recommended (read THEY installed it, not me) copy of XMB, I finally gave up.  There was more than I wanted and no decent mods, a disgustingly ill planned reliance on cookies for read/unread tags and bad login/logout features.

I'd already been told YaBB plain was not allowed.

By YaBB SE?  Oh yes, it was okay.

I started the conversion yesterday.  All my users and 50% of my posts are converted over, and the only hitch was that they had to click the forgot password link to get set up again.  Already posters have set themselves up and are running per usual.

SQL, PHP and YaBB.  This is a bulletin board I can easily modify to my hearts content.
