Conversion from Gold SP1 went like a dream ! As soon as I got it into my dumb brain what to do
There was lots of help on the various stages, I just needed to understand what these stages were !
1. Create a SQL database on my site server (note user/pass !)
2. Upload YaBB SE to a new directory on the server, making sure to get the CHMODS right !
3. Run the install.
4. Run the converter.
Bingo !
The only "problems" I had after conversion were very minor - it was everybody's birthday, and I kept showing up as the latest member, because my join date was July 23 2003
