No, excuse YOU.

What you did was alter a mod that already existed to placate people until you would have the time to give the Mod that everyone was asking for to begin with. As a consumer and user of this service, I have the right to ask. You wanted on the Mod team so badly, this is what you are going to get from people. It essentially makes you part of the support team, and when the consumer of a service wants support, it is up to the support team to try and give it. Also, this is the second time now that we have gotten a version of this mod when we have wanted a quick admin with a checkbox system, it's frustrating considering how much better YaBB would be WITH the checkboxes.

 I was not rude to you at all to begin with, see that little smiley face under my post I made? That denotes "humor", I.E. "joking around". That's why there are smiles on the board. Is humor a concept they've managed to avoid teaching you in your long, hard road of 15 years?

 If I had the time to learn PHP and all assorted crap that goes with it, I wouldn't be on here asking for help to begin with, so your point of "then and only then can they complain" is pretty moot. I would have nothing to complain about if that were the case. And to re-itterate, I was not complaining in the first place.

So I apologize if you took my comment the wrong way, but never once was I discourtious to you on a personal level, so don't come in an blow up on me and bring your personal life stress onto the board. I understand about being busy, I really do. But if you had actually read the joking tone of my post, you'd see that there was no reason to act like a hothead to begin with.

Whether there was a smiley or not, your comment was not appreciated, usually :P or  ;) denotes that your joking, not  ;D.
* Jedi~ shrugs

Anyways, the mod team does NOT denote that I am even supposed to specifically write mods and/or provide support for them (unless they are official.) My job is the review mods for "official" status.

Anyways, my last final is tommorow, so I'll have the time to get it done soon.

Hey, don't forget the fact that we are getting all this stuff for free!

I've used lots of free scripts and programs of different sorts, many of them don't offer any support at all, the good ones have forums like this where you can ask for help and if you're lucky you get a short answer.
But nowere else I'd met so many friendly people willing to help, and willing to write new stuff you ask for.

I think we just should be really thankful to all the people in the dev team, the support team, the mod team and whatever teams there are.
