chat mod?

Has anyone worked on a chat mod at all?  That one seems to have fallen by the wayside as I know there was demand for it early on.  I use GT chat and have integrated it into the forums a bit, but not as much as I'd like to.  So what's out there, (besides IRC)?

If there is, then that would be way cool.  I'm surprised that there wasn't more demand for a chat mod.  I know there was a TON of demand for it when I was a gold user.

I sorta have one on my site.  I can't use a cgi or php based chat room, I have to go with an IRC since my badwith is already over 30 gigs a month.  Mine works with JIRC or JPilot as it is sometimes called.

If you want to use (non-integrated chat) The best free one I know of is Quicka.

It's pure HTML so HTML commands can be used, main smilies work as well as [/me] command, marquee, ?slap, ?pick

Setting it up is outrageously easy you just write the URL.

Write the URL as follows: -

[http://www.quicka.com/chat/chat.cgi/private/] followed by what you want the chat to be called e.g. mychat.
