I can't install YabbSE under WinXp with MySQL and PHP, PLEASE HELP ME!!

  Hello gurus, I'll hope you can help me. I want to install YabbSE under Windows XP!


 I already installed PHP and MySQL and I can finally make install.php  to run but when the installation begins it sends my a lot of warnings but I can continue with the installation (something that I did just to see what happen). then in step ....install=?4  the system hangs and do a lot of HardDisk  read...  

I don't know if I configure properly MySQL ....I'm running PHP4  as CGI I couldn't load the isapi filter, the thing doesn't load!!!

 What can be wrong??   I really need help , I'm a  stranger in this "land" I just  start working with php and MySQL just one day ago!!

 If someone of you guys have a Yabbse forum running on a Win plattform....would you be nice and help to everyone who want's to run a php forum/page?

 I know that exist asp and maybe it seems for some of you stupid to run a php page in Win, but I  want to do it...

just run easyphp with xp patch and all will be working perfectly. I was, so try it

Thanks for your answer man! but could you be more specific about easyphp?? It's the site with tutorials? www.easyphp.net?? or it's a program?

 Must I apply the WinXP service pack?

easyphp is a php+mysql package and with the xp patch it works great under xp!

it´s www.easyphp.org not easyphp.net (temporarly down)!

Thanks for your answers... but now I have more questions:  

What it's exactly easyphp? I already have PHP (www.php.net) for win32 and also I have MySQL ...what does make special easyphp??

 I'ts a kind of add-on? sorry but my french is "null"

I have to uninstall something to install easyphp?

Another question... I have to apply the Win XP service pack?

If I download easyphp? will it run on IIS? or Have I to download Apache?

I must look like an idiot...but asking I can learn a lot of things.

  Well finally!

 I installed the secure version and works until now Great! YabbSE really ROCKS!

 I didn't have a problem...was a breeze!

 But I'm still asking why I couldn install the other version!

you mean you have to install safe mode yabbse? then your php (php.ini) is set as safe mode php!
