News Mod, subject only

How about a News mod, just like the news function on yabbse right now, but it just displays the subject.

Like 10 last news. If you run a page with a main page and not just a forum, if you understand

Manage to make on for myself, here is what i did.

Make news_template10.php in your community dir

It shall contain:

Code Select Expand

<?
print <<<EOT
<a
href=http://www.domain.com/forum/index.php?board=[b]x[/b];action=display;threadid=$row[ID_TOPIC]>$news_title</a><br>
EOT;
?>


Then include it with:

Code Select Expand

<? include("http://www.domain.com/community/index.php?action=news;board=[b]x[/b];limit=[b]x[/b];template=news_template10;ext=php"); ?>

You will have to change x to your values.
