How about a search engine mod?

Ok, in my ongoing quest to integrate YaBB SE into my site as much as humanly possible, and remember that I am a PHP/MySQL newbie...

I think it would be cool if the search engine would not only crawl the Forum database, but my site as well.  The goal here would be  to allow a user to search my site or forum for any term from a PHP include page.  This way I don't have 2 separate search engines on my site, just one that does it all.

How hard would this be to do?  Maybe it's not even possible since the current search engine looks at the database, and now I would need it to look at PHP pages as well.

Ideas?

You would have to modify the search code to also search your site.  You would also probabally want to change how search results are displayed.  It would probabally require a bit of work but I'd check out other php site seacrh scripts to see how to make it do what you want.
