Error Message when registering...

This error message is shown when a user tries to register.  The account is created, but I can't figure out what is causing the problem.

2: Failed to Receive
(c:\foxserv\www\forum\Sources\Subs.php ln 311)

mailerror check if you have correct settings for mail in settings.php!

Do I need to install any other packages to get the mail to work?  My email address and smtp.server are set correctly.  

My mail prog settings are still set to default "$mailprog = "/usr/sbin/sendmail";", does it need to be changed?

Make sure your PHP.ini is set up correctly for the mail() function.
