I get this error when ( some members ) try and log in after signing up!

An Error Has Occurred!    (Champ) The username you tried to register already exists.

then when he tries to sign in.

An Error Has Occurred!    Username does not exist.

what is it? and how do i fix??

It might have to do with case sensitivity. Logging in is case sensitive, but to register the username is matched case INsensitive. So be sure to login with the exact username

im running thr 1.0 version is it worth upgrading it?? Cause i don't get the install inscructions for the 1.3 very confusing!

Something that I noticed is that Netscape seems to hate usernames with spaces in them ... so if they've got spaces, and they're using Netscape (Or mozilla) then that might cause it. Haven't tested it with Opera.

thats what i thought it might be, but it isn't. But they do use underscores...would that casue it?

I wouldn't see how an underscore could cause it. The only problem that I've seen is that Netscape users can't view the profiles of, send IMs to, or otherwise interact directly with anyone that has a space in their username.
