most of the bg colors are correct as long as the stylesheet settings in the template are consistent with the color settings in the 'Forum Preferences and Settings'.

So .titlebg {background-color: #xxxxxx;} in the template has to be consistent with the 'Title BG Color' setting in the 'Forum Preferences and Settings'

every browser should support Cascading Stylesheets, but not every browser does that (very well). This way (even when things have to be setup twice) the board is highly customizable and still cross-browser compatible  8)

yeah ok ok BUT my browser supports CSS and i think when i modify this CSS thing, then the bg color of, 4 example, the search function should also change without seting it also in settings!

Or not?  ;)

And it isnt working perfect:
This white tables in "show XXX log" are there like before!

yeah, but from development perspective that'd pr'bly be quite hard. Infinitive flexibility for the stylesheets and still being able to extract the background colors for the use in bgcolor-attribute tags. Oh, and being a little compatible with Y1G too ;D.

I agree it still doesn't work perfect, but the only place I really encountered a 'visual problem' was at the poll page, where bgcolor wasn't set in the titlebar.
