[1.3.0] Threads won't display

I've just made a new thread on my forum and can open that fine.

Update: Replied to the thread twice and can still open it

One of my forum moderators just contacted me to say 20 minutes ago he could open a thread, now he can't...

Noticed something else now...

When I go to save someone's newly edited profile, it never finishes. It just keeps on loading.

I would do this.

* Install YaBB 1.0 in a new directory.
*create new tables.
*edit settings.php and refer to the tables in the database from the old forum.
*update the newly installed forum.


You should have a new forum (fresh one), with all the data from the MySQL database.

I've narrowed it down to doing the UBBC parsing on the signature.

I've disabled that step when loading a profile for display.php, and it loads the threads ok.

I'm going to see if I can figure out exactly why that's not working.

OK, thanks in abundance for checking it out in the first place, but also thanks for isolating where the problem is.

I know a few people put an [ img ] tag inside a [ url ] tag in their signatures... I'm probably leading you down the wrong track but it's just a suggestion.

hhmmm...maybe it's a really intelligent bug that's got a problem with people associated with AOL....

I noticed when looking at the profiles today (when I first noticed the bug, and yes I'm not lying I thought it was something to do with the signature) that Richei's SWF gave a 404 error...

I don't know if you were following the other thread about my problem getting into the admin centre, but since that "fixed itself" so has the signatures (I re-enabled them). Does the image size checking take place on signatures as well? If so, I think GameSpy may have had a firewall issue (without realising) which was causing the GD image processor to timeout... anyway at least it's fixed for now.
