Icons and text links

I just installed SE 1.3 in my site and in the process of making it look just like (or as close as) my existing YaBB Gold board.  One thing I am having trouble with are the links in the board.  In the Gold board I had little icons along with the text link.  In SE I can only get the icons alone or the text alone.  Is it possible to get both without getting under the hood and modifying things?  I am not familiar with PHP yet.

You would have to modify things.  We didn't add that in (I think it's ugly - maybe that's why) not sure.

But you'd have to change it in the code.

Well, I don't think it's ugly but that's a matter of opinion and personal taste.  I much prefer the tiny icons with text links mostly because my board is setup to be bilingual and I would need to have two sets of graphical links.  With the icons only the text links change.

You should consider adding the capability of having both if the board owner so desires in a future revision.  Or in another way, have separate settings for graphical and text links.

After more than one hour hunting through what I thought were the modules that could generate the links I was about to give up when I incidentally ran into the language files and found the darn thing right there.

Now my new SE board is starting to look much like the YaBB Gold board I am about to ditch out from my web site.
