Intergrating YaBB SE with phpnuke

I know this can be done but have never seen this in action. On my old site I used YaBB SP1 but then found out about phpnuke and redid the site. I don't like the phpbb forums. Has anyone ever accomplished making a mod to do this? I also posted this at http://mattsiegmann.com and he's looking into it. But has anyone ever done it before?

The topic doesn't really help. Noone seems to be working on it anyways. Well, I'll try what I can make of it but I can't promise much. Matt Siegmann is helping me, if anyone wants to help or send in idea's, please do so. You can email me at [email protected].

I actually use PostNuke, so would look to see this as well. (they are offshoots of each other, postnuke/phpnuke)

They have no plans on making a postnuke intergration, just phpnuke.

completely agree with u..and I think that developers of both versions would be happier to include a forum like yabbse, rather than a  :-X phpBB :-X one in their packages..  ;)

The new phpnuke 5.6 will include the Splatt forum instead of phpbb.

We're still arguing about how to release it. I am not completely convinced we should release it as a new CMS. Most editing is done is yabb se anyways, so I figure that we could release it as a package containing a few files: A brand new installer to be overwritten of the default yabb se 1.3 one. A large file storing all the new, yet yto be added files. A large file storing all the modifications to make (maybe a little similar to that of boardmod). And an sql file that will automatically be called by the installer.

We won't do a postnuke conversion, unless an experienced programmer wants to make some minor edits applicable to postnuke.
