Ok this might not be a yabbse bug.. I'm not sure what the heck it is. I'm pulling whats left of my hair out to solve this perplexing thing.. My site for me is not looping my gif animations.. They animate once and then just stop. However on my other machine I am seeing them normal.. I keep thinking it has to be something with my operating system.. So I blew away the OS and rebuilt.. And I still cant get those animations to show.. SO I reinstall IE6. Still the same thing.. THEN I notice one of the posters in this forum, he has a animated avatar in his post.. and it's working just fine.. :

So I really don't know what this is. Why is it only happening on my machine and seemingly only on my yabb site..

Can anyone help??

your host maybe... not sending you all the data of the image... so the end of the .gif where it says loop is missing... or maybe your ISP is doing this?

No, my other machine(s) (I have 6 networked in the house) .. Any of them will show and animations. And since I'm on a cable connection all the machines are on the same ISP.

In your browser settings, do you have animation turned on?

Yes I do. I've truned it off, restarted, turned it back on, restarted... reinstalled, restarted, uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled.. nothing's made a diff. The animations play one full cycle then stop..  It's driving me nuts, because as posted, I'm seeing animations from other boards like this one..  And I am seeing the animations on my board with the other machines. If I wasn't, I would figure it to be cuteftp doing something with the files, but that can't be since they are animating on the other machines. So maybe it's something I have installed on this machine.. If I list out the software I installed on this machine would anyone know or point out what could be the culprit ??????
