Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_escape

Hello,

I installed yabbse fine and coverted it all ok with the exception of the members details in a test location. I have come to run it on my live site and when I run the convert it errors with the below message.

Any ideas what this could be? Does my server have a an older version of SQL or something?

Any help is greatly appreciated, have a deadline to get this done before I go away
