I installed SE, and set up the board the way I wanted it with categories, and boards.  I had 7 people register, and start posting.....so far so good....  

But then, I FTP'ed into my host to delete the 3 files used for installation, and by mistake I deleted index.php instead of install.php. I just wasn't paying attention, boy does this burn my behind.....

Anyway, is there a way I can restore the index.php file without having to re-install everything from scratch?

Sure: download the "safe mode" install files from the yabb.info site, unzip the files on your pc, and upload the extracted "index.php" to your server.
