should i have posted this in mod ideas?  Maybe there should be a "development" board for ideas.

When I post a new topic I think that there should be a checkbox to make it sticky instead of having to go back into the thread to make it sticky.

this sounds good, maybe you can give the moderators also  the ability to post sticky and closed threads !!
