Hey all...

well I don't have access to my admin centre...  our host restarts the servers once a week and one mourning poooosh... my admin centre starts churning out errors..  so I am going to reinstall the board if possible as there are a few other little errors that pop up now ang again aswell...  but before i can do this I was wondering if it is possible to backup the board without the use of the admin centre ?  And if so how do I go about doing this please ?

Talk to Mike @ http://www.hs-server.biz
Tell him Shaun @ http://www.nextcelica.net sent you.

I just switched to his company, and I'm very happy with his support and what is include with the low prices.  He's running the very latest PHP version, MySQL version, and phpMyAdmin version.

Get this...he set up my account no later than 10 minutes after I paid.  Emailed my info to begin uploading in that time and then when I had trouble transferring my database from my old host, he ICQ'd me asking if I needed any help.  I asked if he would install the newest version of phpMyAdmin soon.  He installed it a couple hours later and it was running!  Excellent prices/support/speed/bandwidth/space.

double post...  u may want to remove one...

hey thanx for the info... i installed phpmyadmin myself and am looking through stuff now...  however if they are as good a host as you say we may look at moving over to them before our next payment is due at our current host... we use Tera-Byte.com and have found them to be excellant as in uptime and speed and space... however we do find that their features are limited... eg only 1 MySql database and they refuse to let us purchase another... kikko.com our old host was feature packed... only thing is that we experianced atleast 72 hrs of downtime a month if not more some other months... so we are still looking for a well balanced host...
