Street, if you're on alterhosting, you have phpmyadmin built right in.

Go to your control panel, then log in to the Pleask administrator. From there, click on the name of your site. Then, click "database," and then click the button for phpmyadmin. It should pop up in a separate browser.

If you want, let me install the board for you. Today is my day off, and I've already installed it on alterhosting before.

I've also installed the cgi version before, as well as phpBB, Ikonboard, Snitz, UBB, and XMB, if you want to try any of those.

Yes I can get to  phpmyadmin.  I'm not very familiar with it but I've been using it to query the contents of the database.  It's a step forward but doesn't get me where I need to go.  

If you have time to look at this I'd very much appreciate it.  I'll email you essentials privately on the rogan board.
