It may be easier of you could create a phpinfo file and provide that link.  In a text file (can create in notepad) add this:

<?phpphpinfo();?>

Name it phpinfo.php and upload it to your server.  Then post the link ;)

You only need the second one... That is the info that everyone will ask for to find any problems that you might have...

Quote from: nowhereman on March 12, 2002, 09:25:40 PMJust like with the install.php in my yabbse directory, I couldn't get it to work (internal error)...here is the url:
http://www.beatleart.com/cgi-bin/yabbse/phpinfo.php
The reason why the former doesn't work is because PHP scripts are not supposed to go in the cgi-bin directory...

Anyway, according to your phpinfo() it seems like MySQL is supported, and I can't see any reason why YaBB SE wouldn't work.

Actually it looks like it wasn't configured with mysql support.  You should have something like this in the configure command: --with-mysql=/usr'

Check out configure command: http://www.yabb.info/phpinfo.php

Um well...I'm sure all hosts are different.  So I can't really say it's abnormal.  If it's extra work for them and it's not something they have by default then they may charge.  That being said...most hosts have PHP/mySQL installed already for next extra cost and I wouldn't think of going to one where both are installed and working properly...
