MySQL Problem

I tried to access my YaBB today and received the following error messages :

Warning: MySQL: A link to the server could not be established in index.php on line 42

Warning: MySQL: A link to the server could not be established in index.php on line 45

Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in index.php on line 46

Warning: MySQL: A link to the server could not be established in Subs.php on line 702

Warning: MySQL: A link to the server could not be established in Subs.php on line 703

Warning: MySQL: A link to the server could not be established in Security.php on line 46

Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in Security.php on line 47

Warning: MySQL: A link to the server could not be established in Subs.php on line 694

Warning: MySQL: A link to the server could not be established in Subs.php on line 695

Warning: MySQL: A link to the server could not be established in Load.php on line 69

Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in Load.php on line 70

Warning: MySQL: A link to the server could not be established in Subs.php on line 140

Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in Subs.php on line 141

In addition I got :

2: MySQL: A link to the server could not be established
(/data/members/free/tripod/de/n/i/m/nimmerleer/htdocs/yabbse/Sources/BoardIndex.php ln 36)

I didn't change anything and I can access the MySQL database itself.

Anyone knows what might be the problem ?

hmm, i've been getting a MySQL error too, different from yours though.

click on the link to "Forums" on the left.

check it out, i get lots of errors, but i haven't touched the MySQL database.  and yes, this is all hosted on my own computer.

Make sure your settings are correct...if nothing has changed then nothing should be wrong with SE.
