[REQUEST] Profile mod

For some reason it havent been thought of I think although I think it is very easy to do:

Make it possible to have more textfields (optional in the admin center) where you can assign text (questions to be answered, information to be gathered from member) that the member can then answwer and have included in the profile. It is banal HTML I think, no ????? and then some php of course for the admin integration.

The text limits must be optional as well as the member must be able to edit/reedit the text in a multi-line box framework.

Also it would be nice with a feature where you could have people upload a picture that admin must approve before othes can see it.
All this to be able to create an actual member profile that could very much compete with the best dating sites when including all the other great YaBBSE features.

There was talk of this.  I was hoping it would be in 1.3.0 but don't think it is.  Jeff?

But David - the profile text change isnt that hard to do at all, right ?

No, it's not going to be included in the admin site like that.


To do it well require's too much work for this version.  We could do it in a really shoddy manner quickly, but we won't.  Sorry.

ok - can someone else tell me what to do if i want more text fields that the member can fill out - like when he makes his profile he answers some questions in multilineboxes that can be vciewed as part of his profile ???

i would recommend waiting til 1.3 comes out then make the mod as it may not work the same in the new version
