I upgraded from 1.0 to 1.1, I had to do some manually sunce the upgrade.php apparently didnt enter the new parts into the databse but I fixed that.

Anyway, now most of my dates are primted like:

F jS, Y, H:i:s a

this goes for the top of the page and each category all the way down to individual posts...

oddly enough 'Today ....'  timestamps prints ok?!! :-\
ofcourse when I disable he 'Today mod' they dont, if I just knew what php file handles the dateprinting then I could fix it myself..

from what I can see this is related to the strftime function
the today part apparently uses date instead

Change your forums default time setting to this code:

%B %e, %Y, %I:%M:%S %p
You are right though, it uses the strftime function now.

I fixed it by replacing all the strftime calls in subs.php to date

(and the rplace slashes thing had to go aswell)

anyway, why the new format, any advantages?

Yes, it allows users to be able to make use of set_locale so they can get Months etc in their own language.

There should be a new help file in the package although you may need to pull it from the 1.1.0 safe mode package.  I think it's called adminhelp or something...
