How can i make it so "Notify of replies" is checked as default?

Also... why is it even on a fast server the Yabb board seems so slow, when compared to vBulletin?

Do you have a VB running there?  My connection to that host is horrible.

The board is pretty quick now, you'd have to change some code to enable notify of replies on be default...should be on the post page in Post.php Post function.  Look for the checkbox and have it checked by default, not hard.

Changing it isn't hard - The hard part is actually finding it... Those source files aren't fun to look around...

The posted address (tweakers.com.au) seemed reasonably fast to me, although I have seen faster - I couldn't see any noticeable difference in speed between the forum and the static pages anyway.

Hmm... well sometimes it's painfully slow. But i would probably accredit that to the webhost.

Ive found the part of the code i was looking for. it works good now - thanks!
