I have a similar problem, I think.  I have my own webserver in my house, and my dad's friend helped me set up a YaBB Gold board.  That board runs perfectly now, but I'd like to convert it to YaBB SE.

I'm running win2k on the server, and I have downloaded and installed the PHP and MySQL files that I needed.  The only problem I'm having is figuring out how to upload the converter.php, so i can convert my board to YaBB SE.  Can someone please just tell me how I upload it, using my own webserver?  Thanks.

well if your using your own webserver then do you have access to the computer itself? or over a network connection.

If you do then all you have to do is place the files into a folder in your WWWroot, call install.php set it up. and then run the converter after.

Yeah, after playing around with some stuff, I found the IIS server site on my server, and I figured out how to put the install.php up on the internet, and to access it from the computer.  Only took me like an hour ;), but I can say I learned something today  :D.
