YaBB, web integration and Sub-webs

I movd to a new web-host and am trying to integrate my YaBB SE forums into my web template. I ran into a couple of problems that I could use some help with:
  • If I placed my YaBB forums in the same folder as my website, I could not publish my site without destroying my forum (FP2002). I was told that I needed to convert my YaBB folder to a sub-web. However, doing this, I lose all of the navigation links back to the root web AND the template no longer indicates the page name in the header of the template as it does when it is part of the navigation tree in the root web. Does anyone have any experience in this and can you offer me so advice as how best to set this up?
  • Is it possible to keep the discussion forums (I have two) within the same root web without destroying the forums when publishing? Should I first copy the forums to the FP2002 folder on my hard drive and if I do this how will I assure that all future changes occuring on the the website are syncronized back to the files on my hard drive?

I sure could use some help from anyone who has experience with FrontPage 2002. Thanks.

BTW, I am finding that some webhosting sites are no longer allowing flat-bed databases like YaBB Gold and will kick the user off the site if they discover it. They will only allow a MySQL/PHP bbs because it uses less resources. Be sure to check with your potential web-host first before committing.
Also, be sure to verify how many boards they will allow you to run - mine normally only allows one board (mySQL/PHP) but will allow me to do two so long as the rsource demand does not get out of hand.
FWIW, I'm with Aletia WebHost which has a pre-paid $7.95 / month webhost fee. Their tech support has been great - and friendly.

I have no experience with Frontpage as far as uploading goes but can you put SE in a sub folder and change the paths in your template to point to your main folder?

Should be fairly easy with FrontPage or even something like Editplus.
