How To Use A Backup?

I made a back up wiht myphpadmin and uploaded it nightly to a diff server... And now comes a time when i need to use it.. I downloaded the file but have no idea how to use it so my boards can be fixed...

If anyone knows how to do this and would like to help post, im me or anything else...
