Buttons for messenger and new posts?

I was going through the YaBBImages folder collecting all the buttons to modify and I saw a button for messenger and one for new posts.

Why is there a button for new posts?

they are called menu_im.gif and menu_np.gif it doesnt take a genius to work out that the messenger one should link to the messenger but what is the new posts button for?

Is there an option somewhere that i've missed to turn these on? or do I have to put them in manually?

Joseph asked me to draw them.... I think he wanted to add some features *g* But until now, they weren't added....

thanks for reminding me.  I try to get at least one of them done before the maintenance pack.
