Cannot remove topics or boards

I've converted to yabbse and I can post and reply etc but when I goto remove a post or topic I get errors like this:
2: Unlink failed (No such file or directory)
(/home/snoozer/www/yabbse/Sources/RemoveThread.php ln 41)

Am I missing a file?   because removethread.php does exist and it's in the right place.
Any suggestions??

That was logged in the bug tracker, try adding $modSettings to the global declarations in RemoveThread2() see if that works.

Sorry. I'm not exactly sure where I add that I've tried it in a few places  in RemoveThread2() but I either get the same error or a different one.

At the top of the function, there should be a line that starts off with global, make sure that $modSettings is in that list.

this is what the line looks like.

global $username,$moderators,$settings,$txt,$cgi,$yySetLocation,$currentboard,$cgi,$threadid,$db_prefix;

now add in $modSettings to look like this.

global $username,$moderators,$settings,$txt,$cgi,$yySetLocation,$currentboard,$cgi,$threadid,$db_prefix,$modSettings;

Thanks I just added that. But I still cannot delete posts
Any other suggestions would be great.

Would reinstalling my boards help? It will suck because everyone has to reregister but it's better then nothing.

Nevermind I just redid the install and thist didn't help.

Thanks for your help guys but I'm about to give up. I keep on getting errors when I try to remove threads, if I try to post a new topic (only as certin users) if I reply to a topic nothing happens (only as certin users). I'm just starting to get frustrated. I thought if the install reported no errors thats all there is to it.
Bit off more then I could chew I guess
