Installation Help, Pls!

Hiya
I tried to install YaBB SE but to no avail.
Please can someone explain to me in abit of detail the exact steps in installing it, please.

P.S do you have to have like YaBB 1 Gold installed (or the folders of pictures contained in Yabb 1 Gold) uploading previously.

First of all, Does your server have Uptodate version of PHP and mySQL. Is your server's PHP running in Safe-mode?

Those are the first few things.

If everything is uptodate and your not in safe-mode.

Upload the 3 files (converter.php and install.php in ASCII mode and the archive.ya in binary.) to a directory you created called yabbse CHMOD the older to 777 just for the sake of it (plus sometimes it helps)

goto your browser and called the file 'http://yourserver.com/yabbse/install.php'

and follow the on-screen steps. simple as that.
