Testing a mod or if i apply it: error

are all your folders chmodded to 777?
are all your files chmodded to 666?

I posted about similar thing in "Other help"

this is what I am getting

go to ADMIN then to MODs, click on browse after seeing "No packages yet" I hit download I get this:

"2: fopen("http://www.yabb.info/packages/mod/","rb") - Success
(/home/buffy/public_html/yabbse/Sources/PackageGet.php ln 200"

Once I see it added to the packages list and try to hit browse

"An Error Has Occurred!

2: fopen("http://www.mattsiegman.com/YaBBSE/Packages/Add_Smilies_SE_Mod.mod.yp/package.list","r") - Success
(/home/buffy/public_html/yabbse/Sources/PackageGet.php ln 139)"

I checked the files and folders chmoded properly.  even re-uploaded the packageget.php and packagephp.

Yes matt i had a long dialogue with zef about this, i think there some problems with some speicial chars as {

I had also some problems applying the simple IMFix package because your package engine doesn't apply a before in the last directive, when i changed it with a replace alla worked fine.

About the error i reported i have it with the package i made for my custom titles mod. Applying it manually works very well

THere's a package engine update that does use the before tag I believe...I'm not 100% sure though.

Yes; Matt's engine uses te before tag.
