Problem Description:
Hi guys,
I want help in this,
I am admin of a Forum,
And There are people registering and posting nude things in my decent forum, Can Any body help me with this,
Can I lock the forum thru admin panel,
Or is it possible to lock the forum so that no new users can register and post craps on my decent forum. And Only the registerd members can post,
Hurry hurry guys,
I am going nutz over this,
help me,
Can I ban the IP address.
But the sad part is that they are dailing, So whenever they dial they get different IP's.

Quickest emergency solution is to put it into maintenance mode (check Forum Preferences and Settings -> Maintenance Mode? and save). That'll stop anyone but admins using the forum, but buy you time to clean it up and implement further protective measures, such as the Application and/or Allowed User mods!

You can also modify the message to be shown while it's in maintenance mode to explain what's going on.

And i am very new to this,
What is that App Mod you guys seem to be talking about.
And do I have to install it throught YaBBpak center in admin panel,

The quickest and dirtiest way to prevent new members from registering is:
rename the file "Register.php" to a different name.
