Hi,

I want to add some 'subforums', like on smf... Is this possible?

There are a couple mods that do things similar to this.

Yeah, i know, but i can't find them. I only find 'Subforums'. But that's not like in SMF... :-\

Well you're not going to find them just like the ones SMF has, and I doubt anyone would be writing one that comphrehensive with SMF's release right around the corner..

You could always write it yourself.

Can't figure out subforums....help?

I can't figure out how to set  a subforum correctly on my board.  Everytime I try it, the board I want the subforum added to goes blank (the original topics in the board disappear)
I just can't get it through my thick skull how to do it lol

Any help would be appreciated.

Which mod are you using to do this?  You'll probably have to ask in the thread for that mod, so the mod writer can tell you what is going on with it..

there are existing mods to have subforums in yabbse, but not like the ones in SMF, those are subboards and I don't know any mod for yabbse that does that yet

Thx for your help anyway, I wasn't looking for subforums like smf myself, just couldn't figure out how to use the subforums on my board.

About 10 min after I posted here I figured it out :)
