I want to edit other things besides for how the template looks, there isn't enough options in there for me. I want to have full control over everything. Am I missing something here?

If you're talking how everything gets displayed (position/image/text) it's broken up amongst individual files. Text is located in english.lng (or whatever language you use) and then boardindex.php is your main board display, display.php is for threads and such, profile.php is for your profile, instantmessage.php for your im inbox/outbox/preferences, calendar.php for calendar, ect, ect. The filenames are pretty descriptive as to what they contain within. So if you want to move text A to from position B to position C in the profile, you'll have to open up Profile.php and modify it accordingly. There are also cosmetic mods in the Completed Mods forum, so if you're looking for something specific, you might want to search in there for it. **Also, I think *Secret Name* 1.0 (Next version) has a much more complex template system which will allow you to have greater control. (Dun ask when, or llama's will die. :D )

Thanks for that. Looks like I'm stuck waiting for now then. I wanted to edit how the box looked for example where you write posts, say add a cut corner to it, change the colors more specifically etc.  But since it seems like that would be a huge effort with the current system I'll just wait. sigh.

Are there any other systems out there with more flexibility? I know I shouldn't ask this on this forum but you know, the competition...

Quite honestly, changing things around isn't as daunting as one thinks it would be with the current system. Especially simplistic things such as changing specific colors. You're welcome to ask what box X is called in the color scheme and I'm sure someone will reply. Also, please take a look here the link contains both an offline and online template generator with the ability how everything you change will look. Also somewhere around here is a link to image that names all of the table colors in a graphic. As far as any other appearance, if you can't figure it out yourself, ask on this board. I've always found people here are VERY helpful.

Also, my personal opinion, you'd be making a big sacrifice for a bit more complete template system if going to another board. I've seen them all, and this one crushes them. But, is up to you. I've no idea on the skinning features of the other boards, though.
