when i have news, and it says "0 comments | Write Comment" i want the write comment to open up a small window, and have all the stuff needed to make the post, (i have guests allowed to post) is this possible?

you'll need to add more codes to do that
i suppose you can take the blog mod post functions and change it so it will work for news

edit news template and extract the posting function and make one your self, should not be to hard...
