Error when sending Pm

2: fsockopen(): php_network_getaddresses: gethostbyname failed
(c:\4w\yabbse\bleh\Sources\Subs.php ln 454)
That error msg is shown but the PM is sent.
i dont have error with another forum with same setting..  ???

I input the wrong address b4 and corrected it but there is another problem
Ran into problems sending Mail. Error: 500 Command unrecognized: "AUTH LOGIN"


I dont have problem with the other forum...
Can I just disable all the mail function?
