Default Greeting?

I am running version 1.51, and have customized it nicely for my site. However, there is one thing I'd really like to change, but I can't figure out how. When a poster logs in, it says "Hey, (username), you have (#) messages. Is there any way to make it say something other than Hey? I run an all female site, and would prefer a more genteel greeting.

Search english.lng for "hey" and you can change it there!

Make sure you changed the right one .  I think it is...
$txt[247] = 'Hey,';

*makes a note to not say "hey" to girls, who apparently don't like it.... ?*

LOL... I did change the right one... I don't get it. I typed Hello in there and saved it, uploaded it, and no change.   I dumped my cache to be sure it wasn't that... it hasn't changed tho.

You'll have something like:

Make it:
$yyuname = ($username == 'Guest' ? "$txt[248] <b>$txt[28]</b>. $txt[249] <a href=\"$cgi;action=login\">$txt[34]</a> $txt[377] <a href=\"$cgi;action=register\">$txt[97]</a>." : "$txt[248] <b>$tmp</b>, ");

you probably want to upgrade to the latest version also as there are some known holes in 1.5.1

My server handles version updates for me, but I will mention to him that it was recommended. Thank you.
