Vb Style Login (Password Field Maxlength)

I did try and search for VB Style Login before hand, but didn't find anything related to what I need.  I noticed that my VB Style Login password field only seems to support 7 characters?  My Admin password is 11 characters, so I can never use the VB Style Login to login.   Where can I go to fix the maxlength attribute?

in what way is it limited to 7 chars? you can enter more than 7, are you saying it only recognises 7?

My bad, I guess I get confused when I don't see the password field move to accept more characters.   That resulted in a few failed password attempts.  It must be my CSS that doesn't see the field scroll to the right.  Thanks.
