How to lock topics from guests and "return to topic" not working.

I would like to lock the view option on all threads from guests and make them exclusive to all registered members. I haven't found any option in the admin section to do this. Can anyone help?

Also when a reply is posted on a topic, I don't return to the topic, instead I get sent to the topic list and I have to get back into the original topic. I have checked the option to return into the topic but it is not working.

Any suggestions?

Are you sure you applied the upgrade(s) successfully?  Does your settings table have a "returnToPost" row?

I had help from Spaceman-Spiff with the upgrade to 1.51 and the only option I see for returning to the topic is that "return to topic after posting" I have checked it but nothing. It's like on these boards when I post a reply I get sent back to the topic list and not the topic I replied on.

You might want to ask Spaceman-Spiff to check if the returnToPost variable is in the settings table...

We have 'Go back to topic after posting' enabled and it normally works, but tonight we discovered that checking 'Notify of replies' when you reply to the topic stops it working for that reply (now reported to the Bug Tracker!).
