This has probably been meantioned before, but no luck on the search, so...

A tell a friend mod that is built into the boards, like at the bottom or a button in the menu... i did get a perl one, but it didnt really get used because it took people away from the boards...

but just an idea.

i code something like this for my community site, i'll try to mod it if i can find some time

there's also the send/mail topic function, not exactly what u want, but quite similiar
