I use the upgrade package to upgrade 1.4.1 to 1.5.1

When the UPGRADE.PHP execute into step 2, the web page prompt the successfully message.
It feel good, but at the bottom of the page one line said "Fixing Settings.php...".

It stop there, and no response for long time.
I wait for ......
At last, I think it must be something wrong.
What's the problem, and how to solve it ?

Is it CHMOD'd to 666?  Is your entire directory set to 777?

That sounds normal.  Does your board work properly?

Both of you remind me that my board didn't work properly.

I had seen the message "Backup Settings.php failure!"  before. Maybe it is permission problem (CHMOD).

I run the board at Win 2k server, and use IIS 5.0 as web server.
I will reinstall 1.4.1 into other directory outside of C:\InetPub\wwwroot, set the virtual directory with proper permission. Then upload the 1.5.1-upgrade package and run the script "UPGRADE.PHP".

Will it work?

I suppose, but let me tell you this....

After it says "Fixing Settings.php...." it's done.  It doesn't say anything else.

Can you give a link to your forum?  What is it that's not working?

I have redone the upgrade effort.
It's working fine.

Thanks a lot.
