Own picture / avatar sizes

Not all members have images that are 100 x 100 but YaBBSE will always distort a users image to make it fit the 100 x 100 box.

Is there any way to override this so members could select a smaller image of say, 70 x 90 without the image distorting?

(I know you can disable the max size in "admin" but that could then leave the board open to abuse from wackos)
