I was wondering if someone can make the following add ons availible for download and easy hassle free installation by the user who downloads them.

User Signature Disable
In our forum we have problems where certian users constantly direct link images from other sites deterriorating that websites bandwith.  With this option an administrator can disable any certian user's signature if needed and the user can not overwrite this option.

User Avatar Disable

Disabling an Users Account Option
With this option an administrator has the option to disable an users account.  This option would be availible in the profile page as an administration option.  If this is checked an user cannot login, modify, retrieve, or post anything.  Basically a locking/suspension of thier account.  This would save the amount of banned usernames and save file space.  The user who has thier account locked cannot go in and unlock it.

If anyone is willing please make these add ons and let me know once they are completed, this will make the whole script a heck of a lot better.  PHPBB had these options and I truly miss them, as a devoted YABBSE fan with these options this can make the forum more better and enjoyable by your users.

if u only disable his/her account, he/she can just register again

I want the option to ban a CERTIAN users signature, not all of the people's signatures.  That goes for the avatar aswell.

For the banning it only is supposed to get rid of them temporarily, even that doesnt work because some have rotating ips, (usually dialup people).  With this I know for sure that a person is gone, if he registers again oh well, i can ban him again.  Banning a certian username is fine, but I'd rather be able to "suspend" an account instead of banning it.

I'd seriously like to see these features added into the script.

there was a "Mute Mod" for 1.4.1, maybe that will do the same thing like you want

currently there's no mod for disabling a certain user's signature
however, u can still edit his profile and remove that image and warn him about it

heh it gets quite tiring after doing it over 5 times.  I was hopefully requesting that some of these actually be made.

i mailed jedi~ and asked if i could upgrade his mod if he's not doing it...

IMHO, if you've had to edit someones signature and remind them 5 times, it's time to ban them.
