Feature suggestion for calendar

I also posted this in the original thread about the calendar (in the completed mod board) but it was suggested that here might be more appropriate. so here it is:

Sort of a feature suggestion:
I've just enabled the calendar mod on my board (and it kicks ass), but I want to use it to post events for certain user groups. However I don't want members not  in the groups it is meant for to be able to see those events.
So I was wondering if it is possible to make it so that only certain member groups can use the calendar. Or an even nicer option would be; when you post an event on a certain board, that only the users the can read that board can see the event.
