Muy bien.  Me like.

Except, you'll have to figure out how to setup the conditional (admin, etc) buttons.

extra column, would do the trick.
but you would have major problem with implementing other mods, you would have to do them manualy

Someday WAY down the road I'd like to see a centralized interface for adding/editing/removing template and mod components, instead of using the template.php and PackMan as they are implemented today. This probably doesn't make sense to anyone but me given this puny description, but that doesn't matter, like I said it would be way down the road, and only if the dev team and community share a similar vision.

In the meantime, I'm not sure how this would be a huge benefit to anyone.. its got plenty of 'cool' but not a lot of practicality, IMHO.

Perhaps we could hear a few examples of the benefits of making this change?

if some would like to add a new button, he would only be concernd of adding more data to the mysql db, like say for example url, name,en permission.

this would have as major benifit that you won't have to changed the code of your forum.

if you now want to do this you have to change certain files.

so you could see the major benifit.

Ahh, of course, how silly of me. I forgot that the yabb menu is hard coded! It would be great to have the menu options tucked cozily away in the database, and have a pretty interface for adding/editing/removing them. Shouldn't take all that much work either, relative to other mods.

Good idea. Anyone working on this?
