Well here it is the first and only Invision Board to YaBBSE converter.

This converter is designed for Invision Board 1.0.1 to YaBBSE 1.4.1, any other versions are not supported and you use at your own risk.

WARNING: Categories, boards, topics, posts, and members will be deleted from the YaBBSE board, this is to prevent any complications during the conversion. However no data will be deleted from your Invision Board.

Instructions:

1.) Edit ibf2yse.php and put the correct settings for the boards in it.

2.) Upload the file to your web site and run it from your browser.

3.) Follow all instructions to convert your invision board to yabbse.

4.) Delete ibf2yse.php from your server.

Have fun! :)

Is there a way to disable the script auto-sending an email to all the members with their new password? I wanna test out the converter before I finalize everything.

the point is that they need to get new passwords. I would definately recommend telling them in advance so they can make sure that their email addresses in their profiles are all correct and up to date.

Obviously, but if the converter screws up, it probably wouldn't be too good if half the members on my forums got new passwords for a new forum. Or if I screw up some information... same deal.

Well you can comment out the part that sends out the passwords, just search for the word mail in the file and add this right before it so it looks like this // mail.........

That will make it so it doesn't mail the users. You should remember to remove the // from before it when you want to do it for real and send them the passwords.

Ok, thanks again. Also, I think I may have found a way to get my invision 1.1 back to 1.0.1 so I can use it. 8)
