Java Chat Mod
A Java Chat that Connects to a mIrc Server, It opens in a Pop-up window.

INSTALL
1. Unzip Files and edit Java/chat.html, define the title, and the mIrc server and channel. refer to the doc.txt for more commands.
2. Open Javachat.mod and edit the first action and define the link to your /home/Java/chat.html file.
3. Upload Java folder onto your server.
4. and use boardmod to modify the files, or modify the files yourself.
5. Upload the modified files.

Allow guests to see java chat link
Javachatguests.rar allows guests to see the link to the Java Chat

NOTE THIS IS ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH Javachat MOD, YOU MUST HAVE IT INSTALLED TO USE THIS.

Looks like your demo is offline (I get a 404)

I'm interested in seeing this... the 'everywherechat' based java chat boards seem to be written in MS-specific Java and don't work properly on non-windows platforms.

well i was doing some webpage upgrades, massive delete all, then re-upload. its all based on java, the .mod only adds a link to it. pop-ups into a window, you specify the size, etc..

I'm really looking forward to trying this out/seeing it!! Your demo link is still broken and javachat.rar has errors and can not be extracted properly though.

I'm not sure there is such a thing as MS-specific Java, mainly because the company that owns the rights to Java, Sun Microsystems, is the maker of a very popular UNIX OS (Solaris)...
