Ive upgraded to 1.4 from gold and its amazingly better. I know Im gonna sound like an idiot though but I cant seem to see where they put their database backup feature >:D

There currently is no built in database feature :)

Glad you like 1.4 though, wait until you get your hands on 1.5  ;D

Wait a few "days" and you can upgrade to 1.5. This versions rocks da house ! It's a lot faster than 1.4.

1.4 rocks as it is ^-^ but how do people back their database up now then? With gold it was just copying files back and forth but how the heck do you back up an sql database?

Do you have phpmyadmin on your system? There ARE backup tools floating around here somewhere...

I really hope that the 1.5 version has SMTP built in.  I can't seem to send any email through the forum. Any help? What type of SMTP server should I use on a PC?

If you have SMTP running on your server now, just make sure php.ini uses those SMTP settings and SE will use that by default.

So whatever values you planned on adding into an SMTP MOD, put those into php.ini under the SMTP section...

Is there a release date on 1.5 or is it still in beta and being tested etc?
