we're getting closer.. lol

Ran into problems sending Mail. Error: 533 5.7.1 AUTH command is not enabled.

Is this an error that the script produces.. or is this an error from the mail server itself???

anyone know.???

That error is from your mail server, not my script.

Basically your host disabled the AUTH command.

I get AUTH command issues too.. Is there a way to change to code to not use the AUTH commands and instead use alternate commands?

I like this and it would be cool if we could get it to work around not using the AUTH commands with the SMTP servers...

I figured out the AUTH issues.. After looking at the code in ModSettings.php I found the if statement looking to see if I filled in the username and password in the Settings Panel under Admin..  

So, I went in and removed the username and password then tried to mail again and wah! Lah!  works like a charm ..  This should work if your outgoing/SMTP server doesn't require Authentication..

Also if anyone cares, this mod is being included in version 1.5.
